Description
A very good mid-Victorian period mahogany 3 drawer writing table. Of generous proportions and of good construction in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. The rectangular top is inset with a green leather writing surface replete with gilt tooled decorations to the edges. There are 3 long drawers to the freeze that stretch the entire depth of the desk. The drawer fronts are surrounded in cock beading and are fitted with their original bun handles. To the rear are a set of 3 matching "dummy" drawers. All standing on elegant turned legs which terminate in solid brass castors. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition , ready to go straight into the home.Dimensions:
