Description
A very good Edwardian period pedestal desk of generous proportions. Well constructed in straight grained , or American, walnut. With an arrangement of 9 drawers all fitted with their original solid brass handles. The long central drawer is lockable (key supplied). The top is fitted with a sumptuous green leather writing surface completed with gilt tooled decorations to the surrounds. The sides of the desk are of paneled construction and the whole piece stands on bracket feet. Polished to the rear so could be free standing within a room if desired. Offered for sale in excellent condition, with a good colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home or office. Splits into 3 sections for ease of installation.Dimensions:
