A very attractive pedestal sideboard, in stunning burr walnut and of generous proportions. Of very good construction, with a solid oak carcas and applied burr walnut veneers. This sideboard is very well made, strong and sturdy. Its shaped top is cross banded and has a series of 3 drawers siting within the cushion freeze. These sit over a pair of fantastic bombe shaped pedestals , with bold lines, in the William and Mary style. The door fronts , as well as the two outside , and inside, ends are decorated with inset oval panels. The pedestal cupboard doors open to access ample storage space (the right hand pedestal with two internal , adjustable shelves.)
