A superb quality mid 19th Century French Boulle work, or sewing, table. Of fine construction in ebonised rosewood and embellished with Boulle inlaid detailing of red tortoise shell and brass. The finest inlaid detailing is repeated throughout the table and heightened with the addition of crisp ormolu mounts. The lift up top (lockable with key supplied) raises to reveal a fitted interior with a mirror to the lid. A pull out basket is located underneath.
