Description
An excellent George IV period flame mahogany linen press by Gillows of Lancaster. Makers stamp to the drawer. Of fine construction in dense mahogany timber with great figuring. With a pair of cupboard doors (lockable, key supplied) which open to reveal an interior with 3 pull-out slides. The bottom section with a series of 2 short over 2 long drawers, all fitted with their original ebony bun handles. Standing on charming elongated bun feet. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops to a very high standard and now offered for sale in excellent condition with a great colour and patina. Splits into 2 sections for ease of installation.Dimensions:
