Description
A beautiful late 19th century French bonheur du jour in exquisite plum pudding mahogany. Very well constructed in solid mahogany with attractive plum pudding mahogany veneers. The base section with a single drawer (lockable , key supplied) and a pull out writing surface fitted with a green leather writing and with gilt tooled decorations. Standing on elegant cabriole legs with carving to the knees and terminating in original castors. The superstructure with 2 tiers and surmounted with an elaborate carved open fretwork cornice. With a series of 4 stationary drawers (the bottom 2 lockable, key supplied). Cleaned and waxed in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent overall condition with a rich colour and patina.Dimensions:
