Description

An excellent mid-Victorian period figured walnut chest of drawers. Very well constructed in solid walnut with attractive figured walnut veneers to the drawer fronts and corners, with mahogany lined drawers. Generous storage capacity afforded by an arrangement of 2 short over 3 long graduated drawers, including the bottom deep drawer which extends into the plinth. The drawers fitted with their original solid walnut bun handles inset with mother of pearl motifs. Sympathetically refinished in our workshops and now offered for sale in excellent condition, with a warm colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
