A fine quality late Victorian period inlaid mahogany display cabinet. Of excellent construction from the prestigious Edinburgh firm of cabinet makers "Patterson, Smith and Innes". Made in solid mahogany with attractive mahogany veneers. The cabinet is decorated throughout with inlaid detailing , including stringing, harebells and inset oval satinwood panels. The top section has a mirror back and a wonderful open fretwork gallery. This gallery is repeated to the under-tier lower down in the cabinet. There is a pair of glazed doors (lockable with key supplied) which open to access a shelved and lined interior. The whole cabinet stands on elegant turned and reeded legs. It is offered for sale in excellent condition, with a very good colour, ready to go straight into the home.
