A splendid hall stand from the Arts and Crafts period. Of excellent construction in solid mahogany and of generous proportions. With a series of pegs , a central mirror (fitted with its original beveled plate) and a central drawer, flanked by a pair of stick stands. Decorated throughout with chequer banding inlay and with a marble shelf over the drawer. Packed full of design features redolent of the period and possibly from the workshops of Shapland and Petter of Barnstaple (although not marked).
